Gustav Klimt (1862 - 1918)born in Vienna and trained at the School of Applied Arts, Klimt began his work as a decorative painter. His works include murals, sketches, and paintings. In 1876, Klimt was awarded a scholarship to the Vienna School of Arts and Crafts. - Klimt art has a very traditional Art nouveau feel.

inand Hodler (1853 - 1918)Ferdinand Hodler was born in Berne but worked mostly out of Geneva. He is well known as one the greatest Swiss painters in the late 19th Century. The works of Hodler's early maturity consisted of landscapes, figure compositions and portraits. - I like the way Hodler has such a realistic look to all his art work.
